My Ride: 2007 525xi - Still stock but tinted the windows and am looking into new wheels
Default

So, I have a possessed passenger mirror. It moves on its own. It tends to shift upward and inward. It moves down and back up correctly when backing and doesn't move when backing if the selector is positioned to the right on the mirror control. It takes a little while to notice it and when I do, I press and hold the #1 button on the seat and it moves back to the correct position only to move back in and up after a few days. I've taken it in three times to the dealer now. The first time they replaced the motor on the passenger mirror, the second time they did some five hour update, and the third time they had the "master" mechanic look at it and he decided to replace the memory/seat position module on the seat as well as update the software again. He stated that the two mirrors and memory module are all on a loop and that replacing "the last part" would clear up the issue. It hasn't. Today I noticed it was a bit off, held down the new #1 button and it moved back to where I set it originally. Any ideas? I'm going to take it back, of course, because it's still under the certified pre-owned warranty but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. Thanks for your help.
