My Ride: 2002 325i - SOLD
2006 525i - PCD in August '05
1999 CVPI - My work car
I was reading the online manual for the E60 and one feature that interested me is the Parked Car Ventilation system, but I can't find any info on it at the BMW website. Is it standard for US cars, or not? I am curious if I will get it!
Thanks!
Thanks!

My Ride: 2005 545i with everything
It's awesome. Here in Fresno where it's 110 degrees I leave my ventilation fan blowing when I go into a store and my car stays cooler.

I'm not sure what part of the ventilation system you're talking about...but like said before you can leave your fan blowing when you park your car, but if you are talking about the Parked Car Ventilation...you can set up to two time when the system will come on and pull out some of the stale air in the car.

I use it too. It does help to keep the car somewhat cooler. Nice feature but I forget to turn it on most of the time.

By the way, my 1990 535i, and my 1995 740il both had this feature. It was part of the trip computer and you could set a time (maybe two, I can't remember for sure) for the fan to start blowing.
So not really a new feature at all!

Oh ok! I 1st thought u were talking about the button in the climate where u allow some heat from the engine to come in in winter time! Never tested the feature u guys are talking about...well i still have to learn all the thingies and tricks! Will test as soon as i get to...
From what i understand is that it only blows some air, not cool air right?
