Is the pdc included on the 545 for 2005. It is shown as a $275 accessory item. Does the dealer install it? Does the dealer drill holes in the bumper?

The factory installs it and it is displayed on the in-dash screen (where the idrive info is displayed) when it's ordered as an option. An accessory is dealer installed and won't show up on the idrive and will be just for the rear.

I still would pay extra for the option.

If you order it from the factory, you'll get it for the front and rear. If you order it as a dealer installed accessory, I think it's only for the rear. Yes, the dealer would have to drill holes in the rear bumper to install the sensors.

It is not shown as a factory option for 2005. Is it now standard? I don't belive the factory installs accessories only options.

jared, where are you located?

(It really helps if you put your location in your profile so country specific questions can be answered accurately.)

Rudy was right. It's std on 545, but not on 530 or 525.
PDC in accessory list is not integrated in i-Drive which means that there is no display on i-Drive
