Several on the e38 board have had success with the Dupli-Color product

This was common on E39 and E46 never heard of it yet on E60. Do you have a pic? No, I'm not suggesting you're color-blind I just would like to see a pic. My car is in the sun and i don't have any fading yet. But I have tint as well.

You could of course, just tint your windows!

actually that was a joke and unless you have a cinnamon interior rear shelf im not going to feel bad Unless you have customized green interior !
Anyway yes this was a problem on E46 and E39. Honestly i think you could get away with duplicolor fabric spray but yes, tint your windows. It's not going to affect anything. I have tint and so does almost everyone else and i did not buy into that "special tint" for your accessories. lol. have no problems in any of my cars.

Yes, the parcel shelf in my '04 has faded to purple as well (Texas car). I have a replacement rear sunshade waiting to go in. When I eventually get to that task, I will remove the parcel shelf and use black fabric paint to recolor...at least that is my plan. Or, have it recovered.
