hello all
After picking up my 545i alittle over a week,.. i find my self getting lazy driving with smg
after coming from traditional stick shift. every morning i get a cup of coffee and i find my self doing upshifts only and letting smg do all the downshifts so are we getting lazy with these high tech toys??
some feedback from fellow smg owners?

I'm not even close to being lazy. I shift both up and down and I find myself in the "right" gear more often now than when I drove an old-fashioned manual.
How hard is it to flick your thumb?

Apparently its a lot harder if you're holding a cup of coffee

Maybe if you're holding two cups but holding one and flicking your other thumb is still way easier! ![Tongue](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tongue.gif)

I find I use the downshift more than up shift. Once I am going as fast as I want, I put it in "D" mode.
