Here's the easy way to get rid of it...push the Voice Command button and say: "Limit Off."

I put it on 160kph because any higher than that costs me my licence..... I hear it quite a lot...useful feature

+1. My commute is entirely in a 100 km/h zone, so mine's set to 130, beyond which I end up in court if caught. I hear it all too often

I have a 2004 without NAV. The speed option only shows up in iDrive when parked. When moving, The speed option is not selectable.

It's nice to have, I have mine set at 95 MPH It's too easy to get into tripple digits and not even know it.

The warning tone for speeding, yeah it's there. Kinda useless feature as it reminds the passenger of how fast I am going.
If I want a constant warning tone for speeding, all I need to do is to take the SO along for the ride
