I'm wondering if there are any overlay kits I can black out the red portion of my taillights with similar to alpinewhites e60, it looks sick. Any options or vendors on this board sell such a overlay?

You can buy a roll and cut it yourself... its easy to install. I bought a small roll of red film for my IS to cover the stupid amber blinker.
Just get a large roll and use paper to trace out the rear taillight and cut it to shape. Then re-measure and trim before removing the adhesive backing to apply to the taillight. With soap water you can slide it around to find the perfect fit the squeegee out the water... its really not that hard... whats good about it its all reversible.

Here are some pics of what i did with the red film... after 1.5 years not 1 sign of peeling or fading... looks just as good as the day I installed it.
