I came home one afternoon a couple of years ago. I parked at the bottom of the stairs outside my place (instead of in the garage) because I just had to run in and grab something.
I had literally just unbuckled my seatbelt when a girl in an Accord swerved into the spot next to me, and hit the rear bumper on the driver's side (left turn into the spot) of my car. I got out and said "You just hit me!" She said "I didn't feel anything..." This was my "old" 5-series, but it was a black car and a mark was clearly noticeable. I asked for her information, etc., but she ran inside. I was more than a little irritated, but I had to laugh at her response and ignorance of what a silver mark on a black car looks like.
My next detail got the mark buffed out, but anytime I bump into a friend walking we have a nice joke.

Josh - sorry to hear what happened. I know a BMW tech near Red Bank, NJ who also works on the side for extra cash. He might be able to help you to re-align the bumper and get parts for the headlight repair. PM me if you're interested. Otherwise, hope everything works the best.

You need to put the "cell phone stuck to face = head up ass" argument in the formula.
