Hate my trapezoid, style 134 rims, was tempted to buy some better looking replicas (BMW originals are far too costly :| ) but dont think their quality is that good. So im still hesitating, guaranteed but crap-looking quality or bling-bling from Taiwan. One hack of dilemma

Get some m6 or m5 replicas from www.Modbargains.com or I believe Eurorev.com. They are both members here as well so shoot them a PM. They are great quality from the feedback I have seen.

That's no dilemma at all.
You've alleady said it in your post, you don't think the quality is as good as the quality on the original BMW parts. SO, it's a no brainer to not buy the replicas then. Don't buy stuff that you don't trust! ;) |
if god forbid you should ever need a heart transplant...then get a "replica" one from taiwan etc
you get what you pay for..and you takes your chance. |

My artificial heart was manufactured in Dearborn Michigan ... when i looked it had a FoMoCo logo on it !! should I worry about "quality"

No, I say NO NO to Taiwan! :P
I have to admitt there are replicas on the market that are OK, but they NEVER match the same quality the original has. I have seen so many... when picking up wrecks on the Autobahn with the tow truck... but I have not yet seen any replica that I would really trust in. Manufacturers of replicas claim that their product is cheaper because they didn't need to invent it, so they saved money. But in fact, they use cheaper materials. Materials that might be OK for the most people, but when it comes to a crash you will see the difference. |

They are where Japan was 30-35 years ago, and look at where Japan is now, manufacturing-wise. Don't discount stuff coming from that island nation. Yes, I said it  |
