Looks decent. I just bought a 2004 545 with 58k, CPO and maintenance until 09-30-2010, cold weather, nav, sport, premium sound, heater rear seats, fold down rear seats, rear sunshade, for $24k. Use that as a point of reference, I guess..

I would look for a CPO at this price point.

What if I can have him throw in a good warranty for an extra $1k?

A "good" warranty, or a BMW CPO warranty? I wasn't thrilled with the number of miles on the 545 I just bought, but with CPO and maintenance included until October of next year, I figured it was still a good buy. I can always trade it in or sell it when that runs out. But with that said, I've had aftermarket warranties on other cars, and they were not nearly as easy to deal with as a manufacturer's warranty. I haven't had to have mine in the shop yet, but I'm expecting that since it's a CPO warranty, I'll get the same treatment as the regular BMW warranty.

FWIW..
