On an impulse buy, I am now the owner of style 121 teardrop 19inch 650i rims. Now that I have them, I'm having second thoughts. I'm really liking the M5 166's. Should I try the 121s on for size for now and wait till next year or say f'it and get the 166's? Cheapest I found them was for $1750 shipped no tires.

I say f'it and get the 166's if that's what you really want. You're gonna spend all year wishing you had gotten them if you don't. As far as that price, seems a little high. there a group buy thread for those I think for 1600 shipped. Also Gary at newport bmw (he has a thread in the parts/mod section) I think charges around 1500 for them. PM or email him for a price quote before committing to that 1750 shipped price. You could always put the 121's up for sale and help to help pay for the 166's and/or tires. Good luck...

That's a good priced shipped. I've never seen that wheel on an E60 and i'm not sure how the curves in the wheels would "jive" with the straight edges of the E60 - it might?

I take it you haven't mounted them yet? Any mod is a real personal choice, you might like the way they look. Good Luck!
