white gives in a way some exclusivity.

Yeah it's true I own a white one and had to look for a dealer who had a white one. Nuthin but the usual colors. If you a guy that likes to have a clean looking car but little time cleaning it white may help. When I mad a hard time choosing between white and black, I asked one of mu buddys opinion. At first she said black even before I finished my sentence. So then we went down to my dealer, and she looked at them, and had a hard time deciding, LOL she was no help. Her fav. color is black for cars. I had my eyes on white before I asked her.I live in L.A. and it gets pretty dusty, but i can hardly see dust on white, or even swirl marks. Every time a white e60 it turns heads even though i have one.hehe Or if resale value is important to you then consider white, beacause its a common color and I guess high in demand. Anyways white is clean and simple, and very elegant.

Hi to all. I have found a few 2004 CPO 530's that are pretty good deals. The best deal is an Alpine White 530. Now, I must admit, I had not considered Alpine White at all, until I saw the deal on this 2005 530i. So, I would like input as to this particular color. As of right now, I have not parted with my money. So, it is the time to ask questions.

What do you think about Alpine White as a color choice? What are the pro's and con's, opinions, likes, dislikes?

Thank you.
I have enough in my kitchen and no plans to move to sunny climes.

This is obviously a culture thing. In my neck of the woods white car has certain image. I need only 2 words to describe it: "gay hairdresser".

Definitely a no-no for a premium car like E60.

its almost impossible to keep clean, just like black.
I dissagree with this. I've had several white vehicles including my wife's SUV and am always amazed how clean it seams to look all the time. I admit this is from 10 feet away and like any color car as soon as you get close you can see the dirtyness, but from a distants, white looks pretty good under these conditions.

In the end, as it has been mentioned, get what you want and you can't go wrong with any color e60!
