My Carbon Black with Natural Brown Dakota Leather should be here soon, here is a screen shot or 4 from the BMW Configurator... I like the look myself even with the dark poplar that many express a dislike of....

Personal choice, my advice is take your time... I live in Scotland and just know that Carbon will be a pig to keep clean BUT for the times it is clean it will be awesome.

I'd go with Alpine White & Black interior if I was ordering one.

I think Natural Brown is the way to go from the current offerings. It is a richer color than the rest and will not get as dirty as the CremeBeige. I also, love the two tone look (like my current Auburn).

I would personally go with Platinum Gray with Natural Brown. However, from those 4 exterior choices that you listed I would go with Alpine White with Natural Brown. I am not a fan of Black cars (at all), BUT if I had to pick one it would be the Carbon Black (again with Natural Brown interior).

Niiice mate !

back to the topic : I reckon your last option would be hot > Alpine with Nat. Brown. - I love my classic black on black, but the white is the latest IN...

Here's my two penneth worth.

I prefer a good contrast between the exterior and interior, so Carbon Black with a cream or beige interior works for me (it's what I've on order).

Carbon black does look a dark blue under certain light. I nearly changed my order to Monaco blue, when seeing a car (which actually was Carbon black ) in my local showroom, however under daylight it is definately black rather than blue.

I think I spotted a space grey LCI 5 series the other day - looked quite tasty. Alpine white isn't a popular colour in the UK (got to think about resale values), but I admit it does look good on the photos I've seen on this forum.

Here's the combo I've ordered. :D

I'll need to see this new interior color in person. I've seen a wide variation in the color of "natural brown" pictures posted here, from light tan to reddish brown to deeper brown tones. See, for example, http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=35502&st=30.

Nice combo, I nearly went for it except i knew my kids would have it dirty in no time, there is a huge difference between US & UK when it comes to spec both interior and exterior... you can get away with the lighter shades in sunnier climates.

I'm sorry to say but the grey exterior with light headliner and aluminum trim just don't do it for 'Me'. as i said previously it's all down to personal choice, i personally like a nice contrast, i hope that reflects in my carbon black/dark poplar/natural brown combo, I believe my headliner is also black.

The gray and gray don't do it for me either. I have decided to go with Alpine White, black dakota leather w/ bamboo trim and anthracite headliner.
