Had 2 successive sets on my A6 2.7T and put about 35K per set on them. I chose the M+S version for wear purposes, and liked them for general use. Quiet, gripped OK, good turn in and reasonable price.

Dont think I would consider them on my 545i sport, mainly because of the far better driving dynamics in the 5. Didn't matter as much in the Audi.

You say that, but I only thought they were ok on my A4, but on the 535d they are superb, really really grippy. Read the European M3 and M5 boards, one of the most popular choices out there.
I think it makes a big difference which car you are actually putting them on.

What is the M+S version btw?

i put them on a 2002 330cic, they were mushy. turn a corner and you have to wait for the tires to respond. traction was good.

I believe M+S stands for mud and snow. It's the all season version of the pzero nero's. The non M+S is the summer version.

I have the non M+S version and like them a lot but I only have the Bridgestone Potenza RFT to compare them.

The M+S tyres are a compromize. They might do the job in countries with no real winter...

I hope we can compare summer tyres, not the M+S ones.

Pirelli's is fore sure one of the choices, the other ones are:

Michelin PS2
Conti SC3
Bridgestone Potenza RE50A
GY Eagles

and all, please - NON RF's!

PS. The leading EU carmagazine AutoBild will have a test on 235/35 19" tyres!
Anyone have some data on this test yet?

I go for the July 4th, but the M+S are not summer perf tyres.

The fact seems to be, that the E60 do not handle perf tyres that well!

Have fun, a month in advance!

That's close to free or at least half the price.

A nice set of 245/40 18" goes for some +900 ? overhere.
With the $ at 1,28 that would mean $1150!

But I would not go for bad tyres.

No idea but I think that the Bridgestone SO3 that I had on my M3 blew both my Pilot Sports and Contis out of the water.
