I just bought 4 tires Pireli Pzero Nero for 470 bucks they have 9/32 tread on them very minimial tread wear. What do you guys think about these tires. I know a lof you like Michelin Pilot sport and Goodyear Eagle f1 , what about these pireli pzero nero's. I got a set of 255 35 20, will buy my rims soon.

I had a set of P Zero Nero on the Audi A4 I owned prior to the BMW's. Over all, an average tire. Nothing outstanding, nothing really negative. Price was about equal to performance.

The manufacturer's assigned wear codes for the ZNeros and ZRosos can be lower in some model/sizes than that for the PS2s (160 vs 220, as I recall). It would be interesting to try to compare wear mileage. Check out Tire Racks spec pages by brand.

Great tires. I currently use them in 18" form, they are fun to drive and react predictably when pushed to the limit. I have tried a lot of tyres throughout my driving career, and believe it or not, they are one of the best tires I came across . Tirerack has even ranked them as better than the Michelin PS 1 and the Bridgestone Potena S-03 Pole Postiton Tirerack Test, which I think is a position well earned by the PZero Nero. BTW, Nero is the latest addition to the PZero line. Hope you will enjoy them.

I still have these on the front of my car and in a couple of thousand miles I want to change them for conti's to match the rear (which I really like).

The pirellis are fine and grippy and - you seem to have got a great deal.

The german main automobile association (ADAC) has had most of the bigger brands in a test a couple of months ago. Size tested was 224/45/17

the P Zero Nero is actually one of the 2 test winners and in the overall result ranks one on top of the PS2 Michelin. Saying that the Michelin was still best in dry grip and wear.

So you most certainly have a very good tire and the price seems very good, too.

If you wanna have a look click on the link and when on the website, click the grey info symbol and it gives you a table, with not much translation necessary.

I agree. Have them on my A4 with no issues. I rotate tires often and will likely get 40K out of the original set, which are still smooth riding.

One possible drawback, my FWD A4 absolutely sucks in the snow. Its the worst FWD car I've had for winter driving. My E60 sport might be better with summer tires Either the front weight basis of the car recks havoc (which you think would help a FWD car) or the P Zeros are truly subpar in the snow.

I had them on my A4 and thought they were pretty good but they did wear quick, the got Continental Sport Contact 2's and hated them!!

I now have Neros again, brilliant tyres on BMWs, although they don't last too long, but I would rather that than no grip and last for ages.

Long is 15,000 miles, I reckon I will get 10-12,000 out of these if I swap the fronts and backs over at 6000 miles.
