I turn in my 535i tomorrow (lease end). It's been 3 very fun years. Without question, the best car I have ever had so far. I am certain that I will be back in a BMW in the future, but time to have some fun with the E55 for a couple of years.

W210 or W211 AMG? If you can, get the W211 E63. It handles extremely well and prices should have come down considerably. Either way, enjoy! You'll be back to BMW, unless you get a newer AMG!

The steering on all MB products just plain SUCKS. Its like driving a 1984 Caprice Classic. My moms 2003 C-Class Sport is exactly like that. I cant stand the steering feel in it. Simply put, when going around the corner, you better have strength in your forearms.

From a 535i to a E55?

The E55 Hauls butt and will spank a stock M5 in the quarter. And if you are going from a non sport E60 to a E55, it is still a upgrade (although not much) in the handling dept.
Enjoy the ride

It's okay if you tear a little, haha. It's not an easy letting go. But, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun in your MB. Best of luck.

I got a W211. I looked into the E63. The price of a used E63 was slightly higher than the E55 (obviously), but definately within the budget. The E55 has a lot more TQ available much lower in the RPM range than the E63. The E63 has more HP. I drove both cars and opted for the E55 and I could not be happier.
