Hi, I have e61 2006. Had problems with both front parking lights and rear right fog lights. Dashboard said that they were not working. Changed bulbs, nothing. Checked wiring, fixed it, still not working. Left it at that. Now few weeks later parked my car and later in the day saw that parking lights are on and rear fog light is on. All the problem lights are on, despite being in off position. Disconnected battery, charged it, reconnected today, all those lights that didnt work before light up instantly. Only way to turn them off is to disconnect battery. Any suggestions? THANKS!

 

Check your BMW DTC codes and then your charge cycle histogram.

 

Battery histogram did not show anything significant, I changed light module to the identical, but now I dont get any voltage to my parking lights. But when I switch to old light module, I get 12v constantly, even when engine is not running, lights off. Any ideas? Ista doesnt show anything related to parking lights, only fault in light module is lm: hvac coil chopping. Any ideas?
