Although the tires were complimentary, thanks to this forum, I have discovered one more reason to loathe the run flats. This image was taken of my garage floor, and you can clearly make out the image of the tread pattern of the tires on my epoxy finished floor. I tried to pressure wash them, tried using a few solvents, and nothing seems to work. I am assuming that the brown residue is some sort of protecting film applied at the tire at the factory, but I don?t want to wait six days for my SA to call me back and confirm my own suspicion. Seriously, can anyone make a defendable argument as to one single redeeming feature these tires have? The run flats should be a debate topic next year for the national debating scholarship.

I'd be curious to see if Meguier's Cleaner/Wax would take that off? Worth a try at least?
