So im cruising down the road and I pull up on an AUDI,I straiten up and prepare to battle this rival at the next light..Light turns green and this Audi is 80 yards in front before I even hit the gas pedal, needless to say I am speechless. So I pull up on him at the next light when I see its a AUDI S4, i ask him what engine he's running, and he tells me a supercharged v6 with 417 HP. Now I know everybodies gonna say, its because I have a 528i, but needless to say thats the fastest sprint I ever seen man. Im amazed, so I will be taking a testdrive saturday

Lol, I want a testdrive too, Audi S5 or Volvo V70; the first one looks cooler than me 535i, the second one is more functional, in my opinion....

for my money i would get an M3 all day long...look at any reviews out there. its the bedrock of a performance touring automobile. but if you like the audi...youre the one making the payments so its your call.
now the audi R8....you might be able to sway me twds the competition at that point...esp the cabrio lol

Just trade your 528i in and get 535i and a tune or get a 550i. In my opinion 528i are for everyday gas saving. You want to really have some fun get a 550i or M5

Now dont get me wrong my car is pretty nifty on takeoff in "m" mode and on highways she gets up there, but you guys would have to see what I saw to understand where im coming from, and plus the interior/exterior styling is awesome. I dont mean to sound like a traitor but it is what it is..I'll post pics and vids from my test drive..dont be mad fellow bimmermen, I know how serious some of you guys take these "majestic works of art"

ive been very active on here for a bit now, i dont think u have anyone on here thats an all out fanboy. most of us will own up to the things that Audi does well. i think whats being stated is that all things considered, you definitely should have had your ass handed to you by that S4....the two cars are not comparable in anyway beyond Audi vs BMW. given the situation, your car was severely outmatched so dont give Audi undue credit. the 528i is what 230 or so HP? well he's almost got 200 hp on you...gobs of torque and im sure some weight savings as well. how about you test drive an S4 then test drive an M3 w/ DCT and report back to us at that point?

My Ride: Modded 2010 Carbon Black M5 SMG and Modded 2008 Dinan 550i Sport
S4 is nice but if yu read reviews about overall "fun of driving a true rear wheel car" you may want to go test an M3 side by side. Either way, you will end up with a nice car.
Recently raced a new S5 with my Dinan 550i 6M. Neck and neck. Adding new Quaife 3.46 LSD next week. Form now on I'll be seeing S5s in my rear view. You can't mode yours to do that but you can with a 535, 545 05 550i.
Have fun! Nothing like test drives. My wife and I did this for "fun" a cple weeks ago and came home with an X5 4.8i Hold on to your wallet. hyper:
