ok, I think I found what was causing white smoke on my car last week..

Do you live somewhere where it gets really cold? The reason I ask is because I blew a valve cover gasket this winter (along with the oil cap, dip stick tube and some other stuff), but the dealer said it was a freeze up and what causeed it was the moisture in my oil froze the oil seperator valve shut and over pressured the engine. Everything for me was replaced under warranty and there is a service buletin for it.

thanks for the sib.. hmmm.. i live in los angeles, i dont think im in that category. the coldest here is i believe around 5 degree celcious(40ish F), and now its pretty warm here.

yep, final exam is next week.. lol.. i really need the car pretty much this whole month.. i checked my oil and coolant level when i changed the car's oil last month, it was full. i checked it again this morning, the oil level at 50% dip stick and the coolant at about 75% tank. i lost 50% oil + 25% coolant in a month period. hopefully my car will survive till the end of this month..

FWIW, the dealer local to me charges 1500$ to do both sides.

*EDIT* ahh i see you have a 6 cylinder. Disreguard this message then lol
