Changing the oil at 1000 miles?? Gotta be kidding...
The physical properties of the oil doesn't change not even after 5000 miles. Excepting the break in period, when indeed, lots of metal particles get in the oil or if you drive like nuts.. all day long 250 km/h..
I think that changing the oil every 5000 miles is more than enough.

Welcome Radu530d. I think here it is around ?60,00.
I save a few extra bucks and buy the same oil BMW uses for a cheaper price and they will put it in for me and change the filter.

HUH..
Another TV Shop crap?? You know that BMW doesn't agree on using Dura Lube or Slick either?? Don't belive in this kind of shit. I will invent tomorrow a dildo to put in the tank so that the car consumption will be reduced with 100% and probably I will sell the product very well

I don't usually trust the SUPER... crap.. Whatever that would be. If they named the car SUPER BMW they would have sold it through TELESHOPING either

If a superplug would work as good as they claim, why didn't bmw put it in at first?
