oil pressure low warning

Everytime i slow down at a stop at a light "oil pressure" pops up on screen...it keeps "ding,ding, ding etc"....it reads oil pressure low , stop slowly BLAH BLAH" is it a bad sensor or something major...HELP!!!!!

yea, I'd assume it was a bad sensor. Are you nuts?!?
Do you have a V-8? if so, you have a dipstick. Check the oil level.
If you don't have a dipstick, then get thee to a service facility and have them check it out.
I presume you don't want your engine to seize up, right?
Otherwise, just keep ignoring the warning. Sorry I don't have a way to shut off the annoying "ding, ding, ding"

That's not a warning / alert you should ignore. Could be a faulty sensor or low oil level. Any other tell tale signs like needing to add oil very often or unusual engine noises? Might be something more serious and potentially expensive!

Hi,turns out the crank case valve and hoses needed replacing...all is well now..thanks for the responses guys...
