Oil Light after stopping the engine

My oil light is coming on, but only after i turn the car off. nothing displays on the idrive. what is causing this?

Have you checked the oil level (dipstick and /or iDrive)? The oil level can read as "O.K." but still be down a litre.

Sounds like you need the dealer to come out and give you a loaner for the day so that they can take it back to the dealership to add a quart or so then return it...

Just giving you a hard time.. I saw a post from you earlier about changing your wiper blades and you said they'd come out with a loaner..

Your oil level is low. Check the electronic dipstick.
