Oil Level Sensor Fault Questions
 

hi there, i have 530d 2003 se. it has the oil level sensor fault coming up ever since i bought the car one month ago. im going to change this soon hopefully on the next oil change in a few weeks.

my question is that will this fault cause my cabin heat to be warm as opposed to hot?? even when i have driven on motorway for 30 mins and temp is turned up to max it still only lets out warm air. i have checked the idrive settings and also turned dials to max temp...

also, im told that the engine temperature is displayed on the dash in the form of white blocks. i dont have this, instead i have an exclamation mark near the D sign. is this tied to the oil level sensor fault too?
