Oil leak on heatshield 2008 535xi

Hi guys,
I am new here so forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section.

I recently purchased a 2008 bmw 535xi with only 55k miles. The engine was spotless. After my first oil change I developed an oil leak that seems to find its way on the heatshield by the*boost*solenoid. At times it drips on the headers and I get the "oil burning" smell. I was convinced it was the*valve cover gasket*but I recently changed it (original BMW part) and it's leaking just as much as it did before; not any better, not any worse. I was wondering where else could this oil be coming from? It is really driving me crazy.

This is the link of the video showing where the oil accumulates:

Any help or suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

Hello! I have same car same problem and have cover off now for replacement. I have a friend who is a BMW tech at our large BMW dealership and he tells me the valve covers commonly crack. I will be checking for that, and also I see my oil filler cap seal is pretty oily as well so I will be replacing it.
www.ecstuning.com has most of the parts including a complete valve cover assembly with gasket and bolts etc if unfortunately you have to redo. best wishes!!

Also, being the cover is plastic, warpage may be a problem as well, and would be hard to stop without replacement. I am considering replacing my cover assembly so i dont have to do this again.
