Hi, I have about 50k miles on my 08 535i. I was doing to do a coolant flush and replace the oil filter housing gasket (leaking oil) and found more leaks under the engine. Can you guys check out the photos and give me an assessment? What is the torque for that bolt rear of the oil pan near the drain plug?
I am assuming it is 8 Nm, looks like that leak is coming from that bolt.
The front seems to be more random but heavily located on/around the Siemens water pump. How common is it to leak in so many various spots on this engine with this few miles? I have a 1965 Alfa Romeo and it seems this BMW leaks more than the Alfa...![Bashwall](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/bashwall.gif)

Those bolts are for mounting water pump. Oil won't leak due to those bolts not being torqued properly. Oil is leaking [or leaked] from other leaks such as valve cover gasket and/or oil filter housing gasket and all that leaked oil migrated to the bottom.
Since you've replaced the oil filter housing gasket, clean up that entire are with a can of brake parts cleaner, then wipe off with a rag/paper towels. Then, drive for few days and check under there again if the leak continues.
