My Ride: Silver metallic 550i sports package dropped 19's
Oil cooler thermostat
Hey guys I'm new to the forum and please bare with me as I get the hang of it shortly.my question I have e60 550i n62 v8engine and would like to know where exactly is this oil cooler thermostat located so I can put on my brand new one..thanks and all help and opinions are appreciated.

Model Year: 2010
Welcome! The oil thermostat is bolted to the oil cooler lines coming from right behind the alternator on the mounting bracket. You will probably have to move the alternator out of the way to access it.
