HELP!!

I have just spent half an hour in Halfords trying to choose an oil for my 2005 535d. In their little book, it said Castrol Edge 0W-40 Sport. When I got home and checked Castol's website and spoke to my brother who works for BMW, they both said Castrol Edge 0W-30 Turbo Diesel.

Any ideas?? Just want to get it right - only had the car 1 week!!!

Thanks for any help

Gary

yes, its the one for turbo diesel. Castrol have a brilliant website you put the model in and thats the one that comes up. And some guys are changing this stuff every 7,000miles! At that price it should go for 100,000 miles!

Thanks,

Will post some pictures if it ever stops raining here in Oxford.

Car is great, can't stop smiling. Wrote off my E39 530i Aegean Blue in the snow a month ago, so really enjoying the new 535d.

Just M5 mirrors to go ????!!!!

LL04 is the Edge Sport, that is what is confusing. I think I will get the wife to take the Sport back, and I will stick to the 0W-30 Turbo Diesel Castrol Edge.

Please keep the 535d in the garage if it snows!
