Can a sprint booster be applied to a 535?
What are the chances of voiding the warranty?

Thanks in advance.

yes it can be applied to a 535. if yours is however a 535d then i know some users have faced problems. but non diesel works just fine.

it takes 2-5 mins to open the sprint booster, so just take it off before servicing and you'll be fine..

I'm sure it's been asked already, but I'll ask again. Is this a worthwhile mod for those of us with manual transmissions?
Get it for your MT, and don't get the one for the automatic transmission.
I've got one on my 6MT 545i. I drive both highway and traffic driving.

I was skeptical at first about this mod, but now...wow!! Talk about whiplash!

Couldn't tuck it away that much, left it exposed, I'll have to take it out when I bring it in for service anyway.

well worth the money for those on the fence. I got in on the group buy for 245 shipped. Got here in about 6 days.

Mine has cleared customs- should be delivered tomorrow!

Do people really think it is necessary to take it out before service?

I put mines in yesterday, all I can say is woooo hoooooo . I actually cut two small slits to make a flap on top of the metal bracket where the gas pedal slides onto so the SB can be easily tucked behind the carpet.

If you look down and to the right of the gas pedal you can see the wire. Not sure that anyone but me would notice. No big deal.

To answer our new friend's question, simply stated, a Sprint Booster amplifies the signal from the gas pedal to the engine. You need to use less pedal to make the car go faster. It does nothing to increase horsepower but gives the car a much sportier feel.
