Hi guys, I asked at the BMW dealer today for a price on M5 mirrors and on their system it says they don't fit the normal e60??
Is this true, and if so whats needed to fit them? I dont have folding mirrors so would it be better to just get some NVD mirrors?

Any advice?

Now you see this is an excellent example of someone not knowing what their talking about. Either that or they don't want to be held liable for any electrical malfunctions. Search this forum and you will find numerous instances where someone had done this.

The BMW dealer needs a SLAP! yes they do "fit", but possible electrical issues may be a problem....

Thats what I thought! Couldn't believe he said it, but as he couldn't tell me why they don't fit I thought I'd research first.

I did an M5 mirror install on my pre-LCI E60 with auto-fold feature (enabled via NCSExpert coding) and auto-dimming. All plug-n-play, no wiring modification whatsoever .

It was not untill after i bought them and sprayed them, fitted them, that it became apparent they were for LHD cars not right hand drive.
