October 2006 5 Series Sales Report

This month?s sales total of 4,398 units of the 5 Series were down 9.9% from the 4,880 sold last October. YTD sales for the first 10 months of 2006 were up 5.3% compared to the same period of 2005.
By way of comparison, sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class were up 4.8% with sales of 4,895 units this month and 4,670 units last October. YTD sales of the MB E Class were down 5.0% for the first 10 months of 2006.
Please note that I report only United States sales data.

My Ride: E53 E60 E92
It clearly shows that xi gives the sales boost to both 525 and 530 line up, I wonder if BMW would do the same to 550.
Thanks Fred, though the m5 sales skew the number a little since in 2005 no e39 m5 can be bought and e60 still very limited.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
The M-B is just facelifted, the E60 will be next year in...
