I have a 2004 530i SMG
My inspection sticker has expires... Can I take it to any shop and have them inspected?

anyone is Queens can recommend a place for me... where they had their done?

You can take it to any shop that is certified by the DMV to inspect emissions. Certified places have signs in front of them.

Thanks... I asked because one of my friend took his car to a shop and the OBD II couldn't communicate with the computer... and after many tired it reported fail.
His was a 2004 530 as well...
