I go to National Tire and Battery to get my wheels and tires mounted and balanced. Had my car there for 6 hours and waited.

They dented two of my new 20' concept one RS8's while mounting them. I guess they didn't have the right kind of alignment

equipment either because they said they had to align the car with my stock wheels and then replace them with new 20's, all

so they don't damage my wheels. That didn't do much good cause they still messed up my wheels on the mounting equipment.

Now I have to wait :| , but they said they would repair it. Shouldn't they replace it?

The customer service was good and the guys were cool but it's just my luck to have something go wrong.

interesting how they were all trying to blame it on the equipment so it doesn't come out of their bonus checks.

The guy doing the mounting had Napoleon syndrome while handling my wheels. I had a feeling something wrong was bound to

happen with this guy.

At least I found out that my 285x30x20 tires will rub up against my shocks in the rear and I probably need some spacers. I

may then have some fender rubbing, does anybody know??

If you had a to pick one, rubbing against the shocks or rubbing against the fenders which would you choose?

oh man

:help:

OH and the moral of the story. If want friendly service and shit work. Go to NTB!

My personal experience puts NTB (for tires, alignments, etc.) right up there with Jiffy Lube for oil changes.

My advice is that if you need to hire help, go with a BMW specialist- indy first, or dealer (last resort).

Neither. If you have either of those, the tires will be ruined; it's just a matter of time.
Imagine what happens when you hit a big bump.

NTB never calls me back about my wheels so I give them a call to find out the status. One of the head Managers picks up and asks me what he should do about it..You want me to fire them all? I say, no...what do you normally do in a situation like this? The guy is so retarded, I felt I had to spell it out for him to get me new wheels.

Then he try's to tell me that it's not their fault, and they did the job with the sleeves on the wheels.
I had to explain what happened! 1st the guy puts the tire on backwards and the mounting machined jams, the wheels pops off and hits the metal latch several times. I instantly went up to them and touched the spot. Of course its dented.

Then the manager says, you want store credit or something, the wheels still work. OMG. I smell small claims court.

I was as nice as possible in a situation where I did nothing wrong, and the guy starts talking to me in a rude tone and tells me. Ok, I gotta talk to my the other store manager and we'll call you back tomorrow. they said that yesterday!

So I spoke with the service manager yesterday, and he said he needed to discuss it with his store manager today and will call me back. Of course not! so I called and the store manager picks up saying that he never spoke with the service manager and that his equipment isn't capable of causing damage like that. omg! so I have to explain the situation again. Then he tells me he has to discuss it with his service manager and will call me back. How many fucking managers are there?

What should I do??? I'm sure we have a bunch of lawyers on the forum.
