I got an 05' 545i with Xenon Adaptive Headlights.
Find a Gas station or something where there is glass in the front of the store and you can pull up to it to see your xenons.
Pull in going fairly fast and turn towards the window and stop.
Look in the glass and you will see your Adaptive headlights turn back to forward!!
Just make sure that you stop and dont pull straight through the glass

I remember the day I took delivery - the shag man was putting the plates on my car and he was checking to make sure they didn't show up on the pdc. My face was right in front of the xenon light when he turned the key - they didn't come on but they still did there little adjustment check - freaked me out!

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
How about just starting your car at night pointed into the garage door and watch them level themselves.
Or driving down a straight road and turning the wheel left to right.

I parked in front of my garage door at night and turned the wheel left to right to show them moving to my wife who was so impressed she said nothing and just got out of the car. People show their amazement at technology in different ways

A friend of mine was riding with me back from the club one night.
at the end of a curve he looked at me and said: Maaan i am sooo drunk i think i see your lights moving right and left.
I didn't tell him about adaptive lights and left him feeling bad about his drinking habits
