Real Estate is horrible! My house is gonna cost me $205,000. But, thank God for people with connections! Im going to be getting the house for $145,000!!!

5 Bedrooms / 3.5 baths / 2 car garage!!! YEAAAH!
WOW...What part of the country are you moving to? Based on the pictures and desciption your house would be in the $550K-$800K here in RI/Mass! This is why I think I'm crazy to live in New England every time I see real estate prices in other parts of the country...

If you did not have a child then I would say keep the 3 and get rid of the 5, but with a child I would definately keep the 5. If you go on any trip, you will be forced to take the big SUV if you have the 3. The 5 gives you more flexibility.
Get that third, fun car down the road. Just my opinion.
Good luck with your decision.

$145k for the house, but $120k worth of cars. That's a well-balanced portfolio.

I always joked that if I were single, I would buy trailer (as in mobile home style trailer) and put a 5-car garage on the end of it.

But TO and/or Calabasas is like the beverly hills of the conejo valley...I think most of LA's real estate market is no bueno...you're lucky to get an empty lot in a decent neighborhood out here for 145K

Buildable land here is $1.5M/acre. Townhomes are $500K. Nothing sells that cheap here. Congrats on the new home and beautiful cars.

Scrap the big truck unless you need it for work. With gas pushing $4.00/gal this summer, why do you need the big pigmobile? You can always rent a SUV for the 1 or 2 times a year when you need one. This is an e60 board - would you expect us to tell you to ditch the 5er???
