M5's are such 'rare birds' around here. You would think that the Silicon Valley would have a lot more M5 owners driving around but there aren't - especially given the amount of time I spend in commuter traffic, I see all kinds of cars but hardly any of the 'almighty M'.

Man I'd love to own one someday...

Saw a Silver M5 in the fast lane on 101 Southbound by Bay 101 around 5:45pm today. I was following for a short distance in the wife's MB R350. As I was following, we passed a 550i in the next lane. Belong to anybody here?

It's wasn't me in the M5, but I was in the same area at that time today.....Stuck in the slow lane.

ouch, that sux. I try not to take 101 when I drive my car as I'm convinced that it is the worst stretch of road in the entire southbay.
However, I do take it from time to time because it's the shortest route to the Evergreen area where I live, so if you see a Titanium Silver 545i with Dinan badge, honk at me.

I wish I could go but can't. I was checking through the meet n greet section and saw that you were discussing a possible drive this Sunday which I was hoping to make but I think the weather won't be conducive to any type of 'spirited' driving and it would just be plain bad weather. I do plan on meeting up with the Norcal contingent sometime in the future though. Seems to be a lot of good folks that would be cool to meet.

Yeah Sam@SleekMotoring was trying to put that meet/drive together but if it's going to rain, it might be cancelled.

Cancelled, due to a couple reasons.

Most importantly, I need to sign E.C.F. up as my official event organizer.

Met SJ5er at Sleek Motoring today. He was getting his new Marcato wheels put on.
Love your ride, Jamie. My brother was commenting on how nice your car was too.

Sam, thanks for 'hookin up' my windows with the tint - great work!

You dont have to thank me for anything. If there is anything else you, or anyone else needs help with, PM me, or call the shop.

I'm the official event organizer for meets in NorCal and even Central Cal. That's where I earned that Grand Poobah title below my avatar. I think it was Vegastrashed that gave me that name.

Kidding aside, I'll definitely try to plan a local meet in the next few weeks, then I'm off to MFest in April. Anyone interested in driving to Vegas for that? Need more presentation from NorCal E60.net members, regardless of what you drive. Sam??
