i am new to the forum and from what i had read from other post, i think i have the LCI non xenon headlights. but how come it doesnt use H8 angel eyes?. and the led angel eyes kit that i had gotten to replace the stock yellow, would not fit properly. the aluminium piece is too thick to set and snap into place. is there something that i missed or do i need to do something to make it fit properly?

ps. its a 08 528i

please help!!!!!!

As far as I know, there aren't any specific LEDs specifically made for LCI halogens. You'll have to do some modifications to make them fit properly.

This is what you can do to make them fit (assuming that you have bought the same type of LED):
https://5series.net/forums/topic/103...st__p__1354703

...However, if you continue to read the thread you will notice that I'm having problems with the leds at the moment, but it probably has something to do with the pre-lci to lci conversion. The wiring for your LCI headlights will be original, so I hope you won't have any problems.

this is what i have been looking for, but have you figured out where the problem is coming from? and have you tried other brands to see if it might be brand that is causing it or not?

I havn't figured out what is causing the problem yet, but I would like to do what I can with these before spending money on other brands. I'll let you know how I get on.

I just used a hacksaw to cut the bulb holders. (to tidy them up I used a file and then sandpaper on a flat surface)
I hope this helps.
