Id be more worried about the long-term damage to the pricier suspension parts, including the alignment. Fuk the wheel, you got bigger issues with that kind of pothole effect

+1 My brother in law hit a massive pothole on the highway and blew one of his tires and a shock absorber (it started leaking). The OEM 138 rim was perfectly fine...
I'd be more concerned about the damage my suspension components are taking than my wheels. Well unless you're riding on $5000 wheels and $400 a piece tires.

Oh yea paint your calipers and hubs while you got the wheels off!

lol..I know the calipers are ugly I guess it's a perfect time to paint it..

Welcome to the club man....I just had 2 of my rims repaired yedterday at Al Hubcaps.....It really sucks cause I feel like I could have used that $200 on mods.

I live in Brooklyn too, 19's are a nono. I broke and cracked many a set on my e39, eventually I dropped down to 18's. My e60 545 had 18's, never had an issue, my 550 has stock 19" 172's and I know they will get bent sooner or later. There's a shop on Atlantic ave that can fix bends/cracks for about $45. Search Redline (Funsa) wheel and tire.
