sean jordan, I tried it that EXACT way. When "RESET" shows for that guy, I only receive an "OK". Nothing resets. On ALL of my service indicators it only shows "-------" not miles.

when your ignition is in the on position (2nd click just before starting vehicle) press and hold the trip button when you see the menu come up tab through once to make sure you are in the right menu. Once you see that you are in the right menu go through and stop at the service you want to reset. Release the button then press (do not hold) it again it should say reset. When it says reset press and release it again you should get -------- then it resets. Turn off car then on and the values will be reset.

It takes a couple of time to get the hang of it but it does work. If it does not tell me the steps you are taking. You have to make sure the car is in the on position (the position just before you crank the car).

You can try all these different sequencing but that is not your problem. As I mentioned before, you have somehow lost your CBS data. This happened to me after I replaced a CAS and Kombi. The data is stored in the Kombi and backed up in the CAS. You need to go in and reset giving it a starting point. There might be other ways to do it but the only way I know how is with DIS v57.

If you find this is not the issue then please let us know so others can be aware.
