no radio reception

hi lads hope someone can help me out here i have no radio reception on am or fm but my key fob is working perfect i was wondering if it could be the antenna dirversity but this contorls the central locking and radio i believe any replys would be great thanks

I would also check the "Radio Module" , if i remember correctly it is somewhere in the spare tire area. Make sure it is not wet!

i think bmw's have 2 antenna's. one is the antenna diversity and there is an fm/am antenna. check to see if it's properly connected behind the head unit and also at the rear antenna.
