E60 automatic transmission change
Hi all. I am new to the forum . Need some assistance. can anyone assist with the procedure to code a used egs to a transmission. I dl have bmw standard tools. Thanks

Model Year: 2004
Engine: M54
did you already install the transmission? It's a lot easier to just swap over your old EGS into the replacement transmission, no coding required.

Hello.thanks for reply. Actually its the egs tht is faulty so i purchase another box which i will take the egs and fit in the original one whicj is showing difgerent vin number.
