If you had searched, you would have seen that it's been available for a while.

More importantly, why do you have a series of boxes like a puzzle in your post?

Its a Japanese font that you don't have installed.
Not that I can differentiate it from a series of boxes like a puzzle.

It's clearly available in the US market (as well as others) but since there are so many country specific variations and since you don't really identify which market you're asking about, it's tough to say for sure. If I had to guess, I'd say that the night vision feature is available pretty much everywhere but there may be some reason why your market doesn't offer it...

They are actually traditional chinese characters, not simplified chinese characters, so I am guessing the op is from hong kong.

How would that help you? It would be written in Traditional unsimplified Chinese (was it?) (Asian Humor)

They are really very easy to tell apart:

Simplified Chinese: 簡體字/简体字
Traditional Chinese:繁體字/繁体字

Although, now that I put some serious thought into it, I guess he could also be from Macu or Malayasia, in which it would still be Traditional, but with a distinct southern drawl.

Rudy, night vision could possibly be less available internationally, I don't know. At one time some of this technology was fairly restricted for export. When I picked up my car the Service Manager spent some time with me, and one of the things he started talking about was the camera. It's from FLIR, a big DOD supplier, is very expensive, and he was saying they are really particular in documenting where replacements are going and how they are being used. Specifically, he said the one replacement he did recently, the camera and software were shipped separately and subsequently, and for each shipment they had a certification and validation process he had to go through with FLIR for the next shipment to occur.
