I?m looking for a replacement for my old 1998 E36. And my eyes have fallen in love with the E60 design.

Havn?t seen such a beautiful car ever.

So here is my problem. First of all I live in Denmark, where carprices are very high. And because of this I have to look for an used E60.

So here is my question. Is there something I should be aware of with model?
The car I have my eyes on is a 2004 520i with manaul gearbox.

The car must be imported from Germany since it have xenons and OEM Dacota leather, right ?

The problems with the E60 is mostly software problems, and cars with the PRO navigation have the most problems. This car you are looking at doesn't have navigation, so it should not be a problem.

Check the service book, and see if everything has been done, and check if the car have been repainted etc..

It's a nice car, and the xenon's with adaptive lights is something you would LOVE, during the darks and rainy danish nights :thumbsup:

It was! But the cars sold new in Denmark have nothing extra at all.. A 520iA with dacota leather and adaptive xenons is not something people would like to pay for. Adaptive xenons is almost + 30.000 DKK and the leather is +50.000 DKK, that's why all E60's you see here in Denmark dosen't have xenons :thumbsup: :whistle:

You can get a standard 520i from 2003 with almost 150.000 km on the clock for about 73.700USD.

I have friend who just pick up an used 520i from 2005 in Germany. This car has it all. Leather, navi, Xenon...

Newprice in Denmark: 163232.35 USD

He payed 105311.19 USD. Remember this price is for an used one.

And remember this is just for the small one..

The 550i - used - costs 210587.29 USD and 280829.85 USD from new.
