If you asked me, I'd keep it stock and save the money for something nicer. You said you wanted to look awesome. That kit is ok, IMO. Not awesome. But its your money, car and decision. I can only make suggestions.

You truly are my favorite. Should I just get the wheels for now? How can I see what size tires I need? Is there any chance I can use my current tires?

Likewise.

It depends on what size you are getting. I think your current ones are 18". If you want to stay 18" and non staggered, then you might be able to reuse those tires.

My suggestion is to keep the current as a backup or winter set (in FL, you might not need a winter set) and get some 19" staggered with UHP summer tires. It would give an aggressive look to the car. The VMRs VB3 is one of my favorites.

Check out this thread (post #14), you'll see what I mean... https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=55734

Yea and about the saving of the current wheels for winter... I dont think that will be necessary... Those tires are damn expensive!

To the OP, one piece of advice: Don't rush into anything until you've seen all of your options with wheels, kits, etc. The last thing you want to do is buy a high-priced item and then find out you like something else a week later (ie AlpineWhite Girl )

Your new look will depend on how much you want to mod the car. Do you want it to look like a "newer" 550i with OEM rims and OEM m-tech kit, or if you want to slam it with lowering springs, put on some 20's and throw on the Umnitza front, splitter, quad exhaust, etc.

I think you'll find that the m-tech kit (front, sides and rear) or the umnitza front (and m-tech sides, rear) and rims will be your most expensive but most satisfying mods....so take your time & do your homework on here, esp. on the wheels.

And as for the ACS kit, not a fan.
