My Ride: 530iA Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Navigation System, Head-up Display, Radio Satellite, Adaptive Xenon Headlights. AC Schnitzer Front Lip, H&R springs, Rear red reflector, All season Floor mat,
The problem now is that i have to pay more for the loaner car! DAMN!! Should i lodge a complain and ask the dealer to pay for me instead?

My dealer just told me that they will updating my software to version 17. I have not heard anything about Version 17 before. Anyone here has update theirs to version 17 yet ? First time they tried updating, my service advisor told me that it crashed so they have to keep my car for a few more days?

, My is actually due to be done this afternoon. Hopefully nothing will go wrong again. And i will re-confirm with my service advisor about the software. I still can't believe it is Version 17 though.

I dropped my car in this AM but they couldn't tell me what software version they were going to install - Said they have no control; whatever was downloaded overnight from BMW. They are also doing seat heater recall as that was in the system as being required for my car.
I got an E46 330i courtesy car - no charge even though I didn't purchase my car from the same dealership. Seems quite nice but I had trouble figuring things out with all those buttons and knobs. Also notice that it is a lot smaller than the E60.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
I don't think even V15 is available in California...still 13.x
And I don't understand why any state, let alone California would be behind the rest of the country for software updates. My understanding is that all downloads are done directly from BMWNA, so shouldn't everyone have the same access to the same versions? Or, was I misled by my SA, who clearly knows less than anyone on this board?
