Are you converting from a manual to auto or auto to manual?

IF this is actually a new or re-manufactured transmission it will need to be programmed and coded. They come blank from the factory and aftermarket suppliers. Did you read the config before you removed the transmission to know what you had?

If you are installing a used transmission you are going to have to do some poking around the forums to see what if anything can be done to change the vin, etc and program it. Some transmissions cannot have the program downgraded without causing damage or malfunction.

No it's still in the transmission!!
So, I want to read it then write it to the new/used transmission.

Hopefully I can get it fixed... It needs transmission replacement, have had issues and its recommended that I replace it.

I guess it time to learn inpa and etc....
