Like hankooks v12 soft? Should be good for ironing out road imperfections and freeway expansion joints

FWIW, I've had Goodyear Eagles with 36k and no problems on my 535xi, good in the sun or snow.

I also had balancing probelms with the Hankooks. I wouldn't buy again. My vote is for Michelin Pilot Sports!

My 2 cents... I've had Dunlops (1st set after run flats) that lasted about 23k miles with severe inner wear in the rear. I then switched to BF Goodrich g Force Sport(went with least expensive option) and I am quite happy with how they ride. I have about 17000 miles on them and have the same issue with inner wear with rear tires. I had a tire shop do a side to side switch with the hope of extending the life of the tires. The front tires are wearing very nicely so far. I will likely do the side to side to switch with next set of tires every 8000 to 10000 miles. The warranty is meaningless with staggered wheels because most manufaturers (as best as I can tell)require regular tire rotation in order for the warranty to cover premature wear. I would like feedback from fellow 545/550 owners with staggered wheels and their experiences with inner tire wear.

Cheers!
