So I was going to get some new rims but I found a shop that repaired my M6 Reps wonderfully!!! They had a crack in one of them and every rim had curb rash. I will not tell you who put the cur rash on them because I love my wife and she is a great driver.
Anyway, what do you all recommend for new rubbers? My Falken 452's are getting there and I need to get some good replacements. Low noise, great performance and a little under a million dollars.
Let me know your thoughts and experiences as I will be making the purchase as soon as I get some good feedback!

Conti ContactSportContact 2's.... I run the newer Conti ContactSportContact 5P's last year and they only lasted me 8,000 miles - not good when the fronts are 245 and the rears 275!

I notice a lot of members run hankooks. Don't go with ContiSport2's they wear down way too fast. I am running Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions, nothing bad to say about them they're rated in the top 5 on Tire Rack's site. The Continental Extreme Contact DW's are rated in the top 5 as well. They have one of the longest wear tires out there for Summer Tires.

If I were getting a tire for an E60 today I'd most probably go for the Continental Extreme Contact DW or DWS. It's getting great reviews, is a top rated tire on TireRack and it is very reasonably priced.

Funny you recommend michelins. They are great tires, now having hankooks, I can say the price difference can't justify the difference in ride quality. Don't get me wrong... If I found a deal on michelins, I would be all over them.

I have Hankook V12s (8,000 miles now) and they are great. However, note that you may have to sacrifice on the treadwear. I have heard that they will last anywhere from 15,000-20,000 miles (Please chime in for those who have gone through a set - I'd be interested to know).
Will be considering 'Continental ExtremeContact DWS' next as I do lots daily driving.

I just went from Potenza Pole Position Run Flats to Conti DWS's. I like the feel and I like the look. I guess time will tell on the wear as I do 80-100 miles per day. The reviews are great.
