Is this a new style trunk finsher for the Special Edition models? It looks different to the LCI trunk finisher and the pre-LCI trunk finisher.

There is no trunk finisher in that car.

If you see a key hole, there is no trunk finisher.

Ok, is this a different style boot panel all together?

The lower panel looks different to the LCI and the pre-LCI boot panel.

The Special Edition seems to have a smooth contour?

I see what you mean now...that could well be.

The area around the plate is slightly different on the LCI. It has a few different curves. As a result, I believe the pre-LCI trunk finishers will not fit the LCI. It's been discussed here. If you a search, pics have been posted by Rudy re: the difference.
_____________

Also, a bit off-topic, but on the non-sport models, the bottom section of the rear bumper is slightly different on the LCI as well. It's more vertical (less lippy/curvy) and protrudes outwards a bit more. It also has about a 1 inch thick lip around the bottom, horizontally, whereas the pre-LCI curves underneath with virtually no lip. I noticed this when I was getting my car serviced the other day, and an LCI was next to mine. My rear reflectors are much more flush, whereas the LCI ones are recessed about 1/4" due to that thicker, lower bumper section. The curves are also a bit different towards the side portions of the rear bumper. Personally, the LCI one looks meaner.

See the difference?
