I took my car to the dealer to fix doorseals after so many door adjustment trials..

when i got the car back, i could hear new noises coming from my door and the rear right door . i though that the noise was coming from the seat belt so i spend several hours trying to fix it since i was tired of taking the car to dealer time and time again. but with no sucess.. :'(

yesterday i was at the red light when by pure luck i found out that the door lock socket is loose which was causing all that noises.. it was so anoying since it was directly next to my ear..

when i reached to my destination i removed the cover where the socket hide into when you lock the door by a very small screw driver (make sure not to cut the leather), then i fixed again in the it's position but i turned a bit and the noise has gone....

Cheers....

The doors can be adjusted!
Should be done by a pro.

Indeed the doors must be adjusted by the dealer, but i dont recall a visit to a dealer to fix something without going out with a new problem!!!

Strange

Is this happening in your regions

I went to the dealer 2 weeks ago with the same problem, and the mechanic checked every possibilty of the npise, and it was coming from the door seals. And the guy told me if there is noise, its either because of the rubber seals, or the locks. it's a very common problem with the e60S. will report on the noise again after the new seals are installed.
